I've build the Hasegawa Ju87-G1 1/32 and currently work on the Hasegawa Hawker Tempest 1/48.

the quality of the kits are very good. parts are strong and fit nicely.

You mean to break them (or younger brothers). My "ex" got mad at me one time and took it out on a few of my models onetime. (My expensive eindecker was a casualty)

I've done a 1/450 Akagi, but can't honestly remember whose it was. There can't be too many such kits around, though. I did mine roughly a decade ago. It was a relatively quick build and lacked detail (especially around the superstructure). I'd take pictures, but the finished product is currently in storage (trying to sell the house--not going well).

I really like Hasegawa kits, I did their 1/48 P40 Warhawk, best kit I've ever done. I find if it goes together really well, the finished product always looks fantastic. Same with Tamiya vehicles (not so keen on their planes). Hope you enjoy it mate.

Thats just cruel.. I was about to say she didnt understand the love and devotion that has went on those kits, but then you realise, she probably did. Womens jealousy towards inanimate objects is something men have problems grasbing.

I just finished their (Hasegawa) 1/700 VIIC & IXC uboats and I was very surprised about the level of the detail they managed to put on these teeny-tiny models.
The original thread is here:

I can only imagine the quality of the models in the bigger scale.
Post some pictures when you start...
