here is the detail..

When carrying out this rescue mission the script does not trigger even when describing a circle 5000 yards around the point in question... do you have an idea?? Besides, it's not the first time that I've been bothered with this kind of mission, it's a bit painful...

yes, i have an idea: i can alter the mission so as to allow you to possibly stay in water that is a bit deeper (and safer).
send me your mod list and the mission number and i'll send you a modified mission-file-set as a replacement.

the mission number is stored in the CareerTrack.upc file in the save folder. look at the file date/time stamps to determine when you were playing and choose that folder.
the mission ID will be in the section headed by:
[CareerTrack 1.CareerStatusLast]
...and it will look like this:
PlayerCurrentObjectives=ID243

got it.
just to be certain, you are playing this mission:
Orders:
Proceed to the weatern portion of Negros Island and provide supply support to the guerrillas. Upon completion of you conduct anti-shipping operations in the general area. Make reports to higher authority as necessary. . Additional direction may be provided via message traffic.
Later Orders:
Your current mission is terminated and you are to proceed to the Island of Timor where you will rescued 10 men -Australian, English, Portuguese, and Filipino- and then return to base
+++++

ok...download this and then unzip it into your JSGME MODS folder.
https://www.mediafire.com/file/b7dct...n_Mod.zip/file
it has an updated mission profile for the latest mission files that you sent to me as well as a couple of Mission Editor graphics files which i use to help with the nav map during the mission. i think you will like the effect.
then apply the new mod and and re-start the mission from in-port.

good luck!

I have bad news... We are losing the plot course function, it is impossible to trace our route with my backup...
I just tried with a new career and miraculously it works..
