All of a sudden no matter what I try even reinstall Fraps refuses to work with either SH4 or 5. But it works with all other games. WTF?

BTW I found out by accident that SH5 will capture frame sequences.

I made a .dds file in Photoshop from an image grabbed off the net.
The later boats have the emblem on the sides by default

I hadn't realized there where also two German escorts behind me. They engaged the British escort and sunk it. How cool is that !

T capture a numbered frames sequence you can cut in editing software like Adobe Premiere just hit shift F-11 then alt-tab to get the window asking you if you want to capture a sequence. Then click the game back up and capture.

Here's a short sequence of frames rendered to an avi. you don't need fraps to do this and the game saves it in the same place caps are saved.

Also I got a new boat and new tower. Opted for the camo paint scheme. The more you continue your career the more options you get.
