Default Hi Everyone, Another New Guy.

Hi all,

A quick history for you all.

I bought SH4 about a year and half ago and really enjoyed what little time I got to use it, then I got SH5 about a month ago and again (aside from the common problems ) really enjoyed it. After going onto ubisoft forums and here I noticed how many of the community rated SH3 as the best of the series, so last Friday I purchased SH3 for me and my mate, hoping to convert him from Flight Sim to Sub Sim ( It would appear i was successful he loves it, I hope to get him registered on the forums as well.).

I consider my self a real novice with the series though, but look to put in some serious hours to get the most out of what seems to be the most amazing Simulation I have ever experienced.

So I would appreciate any help with the following please.

I purchased SH3 through Steam and was wondering if I have to manually update or does it do it automatically?

As I got it through Steam am I able to still install any of the mods?

If so is there instructions as to how I can do this.

Is there an in depth manual anywhere which explains the game in more detail?

I hope this isnt to long winded, and thanks for any help & advice.
