And then there was only a few left, after Ron DeSantis has withdrawn his candidate.

From what I understand he was the one who could threaten Trump as Rep. Presidential candidate

If this continue and Trump is removed from the ballot-There will not be any Rep. candidate left.

With DeSantis out of the way, Haley can now start attacking Trump on his lying as well as his memory gaffs and abysmal record. She will be the GOP candidate.

They do not stay loyal to their messiah despite his rotten behaviour but due to his rotten behaviour. You cannot convince them with reason or appeals. It really compares to a sect. The belief system is what reigns, its irrelevant to think it out and being convinced by ratio and logic. Its a very irrational thing.

Wish I had your optimism. At least we will now see if the 21% for DeSantis and 19% for Haley converts to 40% for Haley.

Yes, but at this stage they’ll also likely be hearing more about it from they’re chosen media. Haley doesn't have to play nice anymore to stay relevant and can play to the moderate republicans, and independent voters.

I think a good portion will, plus a good amount of the right leaning independents.

No one says but the one voting by either choosing to vote for a candidate, not voting, or voting a write in candidate where allowed. That "other" option is what sunk Clinton in 2016 over Trump, is what I did and wished I hadn't post Trump's presidency. As much as I didn't like Clinton, I'm certain she wouldn't have caused a Jan 6th riot, nor tried to use fake electors in lieu of the legal electors, by refusing to admit defeat.

Yeah but all those pay for access scams she would have ran through her foundation would have been fine by comparison to you? For all Trumps failings we dodged a huge bullet by keeping that evil woman out of the oval office.
