The second version is Phil Collins and Tony Banks of Genesis, unplugged a bit at " the Farm."

Phil Collins is a triple threat on Vocals, Drums and Piano that can bring any song to life.

A true piece of Rock music history: Jeff Beck jamming with David Bowie (as Ziggy Stardust) on a couple of numbers in concert; ably keeping up is Mick Ronson, not a bad guitarist himself; Beck is shown playing slide guitar, a rare bit of film and, towards the end, gives a bit of a nod to Jimi by playing the guitar behind his head...

Just goes to show what two very fine guitarists, one a true genius of the the instrument, could do without the massive pedal boards, sound racks, and digital sweetening the 'twiddley, twiddley, twiddley' so-called 'guitar gods/heroes' today so heavily rely on to try to pass off their 'talent'; nothing more for Beck and Ronson than wood, steel, fingers, and a deep, deep well of talent and creativity...

OH, and in advance, you're welcome Jim...

BTW, we're all still waiting on those pics of you back in the day with the Bowie cut and the platform shoes...

The second clip, Around And Around (sometimes labelled as 'Round and 'Round, was a Chuck Berry composition; The Rolling Stones had the number as a staple of their live shows (as well as releasing a studio recording) and it is said The Stones version was the inspiration for Bowie's take on the song...

Nice cover by Sydney Punk band Suicide Squad from 1979. The Punk scene down here was very ephemeral, but there were some great bands and good times while it lasted.

Nice song about Atomic radiation and Cheeseburgers. Makes them taste better. Better than MSG .

And while I'm on the subject of Sydney bands and cover versions....the XL Capris had a beauty in 1979 also. A true Classic
