My computer doesn't even have a disc drive.
I have no use for a physical copy of the game. I might have back when my case and monitor were insipid beige, I ran a VooDoo 2 card, and 1024x768 was considered high resolution. But not anymore. The same is most likely true of 99.9% of the people who will actually spend the money to purchase the game, any DLC released later, and so forth. Delaying the game's release in order to cater to the tiny group of people who have any need for a physical copy would be an inexplicably nonsensical business decision. |
