Hell yeah! When I was a kid, our neighbor had a tank in his garage for holding all the live crabs he caught in his crab pots out in the Chesapeake Bay. We had fresh crab meat whenever we wanted. Crab cakes were always a favorite (especially for my mother), but we'd usually just boil 'em and eat 'em plain right out of the shell.
