Seriously, one last time:

This took a lot of digging, but you're hearing the original, un-futzed-with, cut of Sample And Hold from Trans.

It sounds far from perfect, which I think is what Neil wanted for the original concept. Trans was all about moving from the old music to the new (aka analog to digital), and sometimes it wasn't going to be pretty.

This was .. differnt. You once posted a live video of 'Mr. Soul' with Neil using a heavy vocoder some years ago, but seems this has gone from the tube, at least for now.
However this is not bad as well (if a bit slower), and i did not hear this variation before:
