Wow sounds like great memories! Got me thinking when I first was aware of listening to Jethro Tull, it was one of the "King Biscuit Flower Hour" radio shows. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Biscuit_Flower_Hour. I remember also one night when they played the Who Quadrophenia album and I recorded it onto cassette tape. I don't know how many times I replayed that tape. Perhaps these were recordings at live concerts? I was a young teen when these aired on the radio.

Here is one of the intros to the radio show. "The long-time host of the show until the mid-1990s was Bill Minkin, whose voice has been described as "the perfect blend of hipster enthusiasm and stoner casualness"
