1/48 scale cutaway Type VII

These photographs were taken at the Nuremberg Toy Fair earlier this year. Looks like Trumpeter is slated to release this beast sometime within the next year.

Stuff like this makes me wish I had the money and hand-eye coordination to be a proper model builder. The interior looks a little sparse, but I imagine the potential for super-detailing is tremendous.
