Default 1/72 Type VIIC U-744

I am almost finished with this one. I still need to string up the rigging and a few other minor details but for the most part she is complete. This was a very fun build, and also tried my hand at some new modeling techniques. I am very pleased with the outcome of the model. I wanted to show her with very heavy weathering after a very long patrol.

I hope you all enjoy the photos.

Neil

Nice job!
Only thing that isnt right is the deck gun. I believe, that by the time all the flaks were installed, the 88 was long gone.
Apart from that- a good effort.

I think Siara is right:

Apart from that it looks great, I like especially the weathering of your model.

Cheers,
Michael

Thank you all for the compliments. I was not sure about the deck gun but did know when she was sunk did not have one. I could not find any info on whether or not she was fitted with one initially or not. I decided to go with the deck gun taking a chance on not being historically accurate 100%.

Thank you all again for the compliments. Once the rigging is up I will try and get better photos and post them.
