And I wonder why I wasnt awarded the most sorely missed member of the subsim fleet
Ok seriously, reporting back for a brief moment to derail this train and to say: Rest assured my fellow subsimmers, for although I dont post here anymore like I used to (twas mostly BS anyway, so good riddance, I agree in retrospective), I am proud to say I am brainwashing my son -keeping his best interest in mind all the time ofcourse- with good ol SH3 GWX any time his mother doesnt keep an eye on him. By now he has become more of a fanatic than I ever was, despite his tender age of 7. But you know what happened to Spartan sons at age 7. God knows he might even be posting on subsim.com Nahhh.... Anyways, congrats to the awardwinners and cheers to Neal. Kaleun Sixpack und Sohn fahren volle fahrt voraus nach Silent Hunter funf Neue Kurs, Herr Kaleun ? ABWARTEN !

Thanks Everyone!
I am humbled and deeply grateful for the awards and kind words. It has been a pleasure working with all of you. Some of the questions that I was asked were very good and I had to do a considerable amount of research to answer them effectively. I learned a lot along the way and that is never a bad thing.
It is sites like this that help keep the memory of our WWII heroes alive. If I have helped in that effort then I am truly a happy man. The Q&A Thread is not dead! Ask some questions! Thanks again, Dave |

great job
Congratulations. Special hello to Nicolas, from Guatemala, re the Easy Aob. If I am lucky enough to evade TMO dds, I sometimes even manage to sink something.

Well, congrats to you all
With real life slapping me in the face, I have not had much time to spend on any Sim but I have been trying to keep up with SH5. Neal, just wondering, how did you manage to post an interview that has not happened yet? If it's due to me just having a fast PC (Very fast apparently ) Well, I can say that, you will have a great interview on Jan 22, 2010
