Princess Cruises does not have ship of that name. Ship quarantined in Yokohama is Diamond Princess (company uses "Princess" as suffix, not prefix).

I see where you are going with this, but without the electoral college the great state of California would decide all national elections for years to come.

So with that in mind let us allow the great state of California to contain this spreading virus to just their state.

Mountainhouse is selling out get it while you can! Its pretty tasty I use it sometimes when going out backcountry. Usually I dehydrate my own food as its much cheaper too do it yourself.

When you transport infected patient, viruses do not implify fall out of window. Following proper procedures when handling patients is much more critical than physical location of quarantine facility. In my local hospital such facility is located immediately upstairs from emergency room which minimizes contact with other patients and staff.

Situation is somewhat different with thousands of passengers and crew onboard a cruise ship but even then only those in precautionary quarantine stay onboard. Its simply practical question as its cheaper (to society, not cruise line) than moving everyone to purpose built quarantine facility.

I'm not too convinced that it would be cheper option. I see a lot of potential litigation opportunities there especially if you involve American courts and lawyers into it.
