Nu breekt m'n klomp! (uh?)

Just for fun, I thought, I only install the Uboat missions part. To my utter surprise, SH4 turned out to work perfectly! I was able to load my savegames just fine... Remember: I didn't install Silent Hunter IV!

Can someone tell me in plain English, please without abbreviations, how that is possible?

P.S. Nu breekt m'n klomp is Dutch for: Now I don't understand it anymore!
