Default Silent Hunter 5 & a new laptop

I am looking for some advice please.
I am getting a new laptop, I am looking at the Acer Nitro 5(specs below)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
- 4 GB GDDR6
- Intel® Core™ i5-11400H Processor
- Hexa-core
- 2.7 GHz / 4.5 GHz
- 12 MB cache
512 GB SSD

Will this Acer Nitro 5 play SH5?
Thanks in advance

i do not personally play SH5 even though i have a license and an installation of it.
however, from reading other posts here, it seems as if Ubi has dropped support for SH5 and some of the Subsimmers are having difficulty just running their already-installed-versions.
my suggestion is that you should read this thread for more info.

good luck!

I have only ever played SH5 as a single player & checked with Ubisoft.
Ubisoft have confirmed that if you play SH5 as a single player, as I do, then the sim will not be affected by their recent statement.

I play SH5 without issue, with TWoS mod on a Dell G3 32gb Ram, Nvidia 1660Ti. 500GB SSD, Win 11. Runs like butter.

I just installed it from Steam, had to add Ubi Uconnect but I did get it running on Win 10. I'm going to say and recent computer with a grfx card would run SH5.

In general, you might want more RAM with this config if possible but as far as SH5 is concerned, yes it will run just fine with all bells and whistles on.
