After 10 straight weeks (an NFL record), there were no overtime games this weekend.

All good things must come to an end I guess.

The Vikings tried, but failed...they pulled it out.

I think they have a point too...

Critics Claim Mac Jones Just Product Of Being Talented Quarterback In System With Elite Defense And Coaching

FOXBOROUGH, MA—Slamming the rookie’s success as a fluke of organizational competence, critics claimed Tuesday that Patriots quarterback Mac Jones was just the product of being a talented player in a system with elite defense and coaching. “People are acting like Mac [Jones] is the next great franchise QB, but he’s only doing this well because he has a complete skill set and he’s surrounded by talent and coaches who know what they can expect from their players,” said Bills fan Derrick DiMaio, who claimed that Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes could be just as successful in a setup like Mac Jones has. “You take away his accuracy, his decision making, and the Patriots’ proficiency at developing players, and he wouldn’t be anything special. Just look at what having to deal with no supporting cast and a directionless, identity-less organization has done to Trevor Lawrence. That’s what Mac Jones would be like if he wasn’t being properly utilized and well-guided. It’s all luck.” At press time, Jets, Lions, Browns, Jaguars, Giants, and Bears fans were all wishing their teams could get as lucky as the Patriots seem to be with their draft picks over and over again each year.

After years of increasingly famous draft busts it should be clear that Parcells is right. Even the most talented college player will struggle in the NFL if he is badly coached and playing for a dysfunctional organization.

Hey how 'bout them Patriots huh? <--- Being said all over New England this morning!

It's good to finally hear after the oh so long rebuilding period post Brady that we are back on top of the AFC. Last night was a coaching win too proving once again that Brady wasn't our only Goat.

Saints swept the Bucs again, just like they've done the other two seasons they won the Super Bowl.

So let me be the first to congratulate them on their future SB victory.

Default Here we go again

So, in another series of meltdowns, Antonio Brown, wide receiver for the World Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, quits his team in the middle of playing the New York Jets today. Head coach Bruce Arians, in bringing Antonio Brown to the team had stated that if he screws up one time, he is gone.

Antonio Brown played the whole season on a faked Covid vaccination card and was suspended for 3 games. It hardly mattered as Brown was injured and would be out for 3 weeks anyhow. It did put head coach Arians at risk as he has battled Cancer and presumably, has a somewhat compromised immune system.

Arians went back on his word and kept Antonio Brown on the team but after today's temper tantrum, has said publicly, Brown is no longer on the team as of today. We will see as Arians has gone back on his word before.

https://www.boston.com/sports/nfl/20...ideo-released/

In a bizarre moment, Antonio Brown takes of his Jersey and pads and t shirt and walks off the field. This Isn't the first time Brown has walked out on a team he has played for but this may well be his last.

Although it's obvious Brown has mental issues, His bizarre behavior started soon after linebacker Vontaze Burfict put a vicious and illegal hit on Brown when the Bengals played the Steelers in the playoffs. Brown played for the Steelers then. I don't think this will end well for Brown.

The hit on Brown

So are you back to being a Raiders fan? Not judging, just curious? There's always the Houston Oilers.

Just for you Neal:

Anywhoo, let the coaching purge begin!

...and they got rid of Spielman. I wonder who they'll get to mis-manage the vikes now?
