Gotta get the flu shot soon. So if one country has temporarily stopped Moderna for thirty year olds and under does that mean it's ok for those above thirty? I hope it doesn't mean "hey you old codgers are closer to death anyway so we'll roll the dice with you".

at 70, essentially just a variation on The Expndibles! My wife of 41 years and and I just got our Moderna booster (1/2 amt. of original shots?) and a flu shot at our local supermarket full pharmacy while doing our routine shopping. Now home...awaiting a reaction...in one shoulder or the other....?

I did The Double Tap (flu shot and Moderna booster) last month at the VA hospital. I don't know if the nurse hit a nerve but I wound up with some Vaudeville Disease in one shoulder. You know, "Doctor, Doctor, it hurts when I hold my arm like this...". So, I'm not sold yet on getting both shots on the same day.

You're not supposed to receive/they're not supposed to give both shots in one day.

Im surprised, the night was not good and the shoulder really hurts, cannot fully move it still and it is very hot, much more than after the second jab (while the needle I did not feel at all, so its not that she hit a nerve or something). Hot flashes, and chills, cold sweat, much more so than last time.

I'm better now, but it was no fun this time. I think the immune system really understood no joking, and did serious business form beginning on, so in the end I see it all as positive.
