Afraid not.. it also was not a trainer like the Hs 125 but meant to fight.
Hint: In a report quoted in a book it is written that at least one of the prototypes flew, if late in the war. The 'net denies that at some places but i take it the report is correct here, with lots of details. As probably said before it was planned by one company, but built and redesigned by another.

@Jim sorry, not an Arado
Hint: We had the later company recently in one of my riddles @Aktungbby: as Jim righly quoted, not a jet engine. Hint: it was designed for a special task, against a threat that did not materialise over Germany before the war ended (and also to hunt DeHavilland Mosquitoes).

The plane
It was to be a fighter or interceptor. I heard there were five built, some speak of two. Plus two mock-ups for whatever purpose. One or two of the prototypes flew in 1945, surpassing the demands. Hint: It started as a Messerschmitt project, but then ...

Well done Rockstar
The Blohm & Voss 155 stratospheric fighter/interceptor, derived from the ME 155 project first labelled as Messerschmitt 409 (a "Me 109 on steroids"), able to reach almost 17,000 meters of altitude, designed to intercept pressurised high-flying Liberators and the B-29. It had a DB 605 engine with a Hirth two-stage turbocharger. Its wing span was almost as wide as the later U-2 US spy plane. The two giant wing radiators were necessary to cool engine and turbochargers. The only survivor is in the US Smithsonian National Air and Space museum: https://airandspace.si.edu/collectio...m_A19600314000 https://theaviationgeekclub.com/the-...hat-never-was/ https://luftwaffelovers.blogspot.com...-pictures.html https://planehistoria.com/bv-155/ Over to Rockstar

I should've got that - well done, Rockstar. The saw-tooth painting on the leading edges should've helped

I looked right at that photo in air and space link so many times the last few days you wouldn't believe. Didn't dawn on me til me now, those strut covers were distracting me. What can I say I'm just a slow on the uptake sometimes.

I kept going through Smithsonian Air Museum displays; having visited there at niece's DC wedding about 3 years ago...It wouldn't have stood a chance with me back in the
day heck, now I could wear my new CPAP mask for that total immersion effect weers really go for! and the price was right too!
