Default return to base Mod?

Hi all,
really need a return-to-base Mod. kinda waste a lot of time to go back to base.

I remember that SH3 GFX has automatic back to home option. very neat.

there is no fun to manually go back.

thanks
Danny

Far as I know does not exist for SH 4. That would be a hard coded fix most likely, could be wrong though.

Surprised someone would make such a monstrosity for a naval/submarine simulation , very arcade like, gamey. Part of the challenge is making it home after a patrol.

+1 on Bubblehead's post.

Sub Battle had the same automatic feature you are suggesting: A=automatic sailing to next destination along a pre-determined route. which was fine unless an enemy intersected with your path while you were passing an island or atoll. then you would find yourself parked on that island.

I'd like one too.....Usually just tedious plodding back escaping planes now and then.

What I do is max-time compression back—I lose weather, unless I ctrl-N and watch the clouds unrealistically race by for the the next few hours, but remember, time compression higher than 1024, and you probably will not have any air contacts, so it's a cheat; just remember to slow down to 256 or less in Empire waters, which are identified on modded maps with names like Convoy College, and Maple Grove, if you're looking for action.
