abraham,i am reading it slowly,you have to when you only get 223 pages for Â£65 but it is pretty good so far.publisher is routledge and isbn0415385326.The current chapter i am reading has some good stuff about ww2 asdic procedures.The author works for the naval historical brasnch of the MOD.

The catologue has it as an e-book but not the website.I will pm you when i finish it.I get my public library to order a lot of stuff for me

Abraham,I am about half way through.I am going to contact the author to try and get some more info on search patterns off him.I will let you know how i get on.

Woow. You can buy a new copy for $115.00 or a used copy for $107.00 on Ebay. Must be a good book.

I finally finished reading it over the weekend.A good book based on the author's phd thesis,but I would suggest that you get your local library to order it,especially given the price.It lacks diagrams but has some interesting specifics on search patterns etc.
I have now moved onto "Periscope View" by Shrimp Simpson
