Nice one, I had a good win on the geegees so I thought I would treat myself to a new toy rather than piss it up against a wall.

Looks like a great build, though if you plan to record gameplay and edit the video footage, I would go for 8 more gigs of ram. It isn't exactly needed even then, but it does help a bit and ram is cheap nowadays.

Custom sink for the CPU perhaps. Doesn't have to be a monster, just an improvement over the stock Intel cooler. Keep it cool and quiet.

Yep I have custom sink for the CPU only few quid extra and I install more memory later on.
I should have this rig by Tuesday. And then up and running when I get back from my 4 day break in Majorca.

If you want it to run really cool, you should use water cooling, my rig is water cooled and it runs at about 19 degree constantly (room temperature)

But my CPU is only at 3.4 ghz so that could be a help.

My CPU easily runs at 4 ghz but I don't have the need for such power, just wastes energy and makes heat.

I would also recommend putting filters on your air intakes, because Heatsink fans can get bogged up with dirt and grime quite fast and it saves time on pulling it apart and cleaning it out, and adding extra fans to the sides of your case, as well as the top if need be.
