What a good idea !
Thank you ! I'll make them soon !
(I still have to learn HOW to assign a damage texture to one and only ship.... Privateer told us how to do that, it seems not to be easy .... let's hope that it's going to be possible to assign right/left/bottom textures to a ship in their right place :hmm:)
I have not seen a way to coordinate a left/right up/down texture.
It appears to be based on angle of impact?
If I come cross anymore info, I'll let you know.

To assign a texture to a ship, you need only change the TGA reference in the ships
.val file.
Hex Edit it or I can upload the same rule for TimeTravellers SH3 File Analyzer
that I wrote for Vikinger.

I know it.

But I think that it is a design and composition that is the most important.

I want say make a the best shows it even if it changes in any kind of state.

For example

top and bottom / right and left / diagonally directions.

Thanks bye !

I think there is a lot more possible in a lot of areas!
It seems to just take someone willing to experiment out side of
the norms, so to speak.
If I ever find the area I got the info on the damage textures from,
I'll give it a closer look.
I may have missed a bit of info on first glance.

UV map them!
I'll be trying this, this week as I am doing some work on a ship
for someone.

I believe the final is not out yet but 2.0 is just great also. I recommend it highly. OC is still fiddling around with new textures.

The final version is out. The link at the top of the first post in this thread points to it. I was able to just download it now, so you may want to try it again. Here's the link again:
