Free Camera View

TMO 1.9
RSRDC_TMO V.502
RSRDC_V5xx Patch1
TGT DIALS TO PK FIX
EAXSOUND

For some reason I can't into a free camera view where I can view/float around and look at my ship etc. Is there an option to enable/disable I'm missing somewhere?

Thanks!

Webster's right...unless some mod or another changed the keys but didn't update the F1 list.

Anyway, comma (,) and period (.) will get you external ship-cam views, and F11 or F12 (depending on the mod) will get you the true free-cam.

Think I found the problem, if you pick anything but "easy" at the start of the campaign (TMO) the external camera is disabled.

You can customize all settings before starting your career by going into the 'Game Options' screen and changing it manually.

In campaign mode you must do your options in the office by using the radio on the left. You click on it and then you can enable you cams. If you use the options at the load in screen they will not take effect in campaign mode, must be done in the office with the radio.

I didn't read all the post, but by default the cams are cut off with TMO, you have to go to command lines

8.) How do i get the next/ previous camera back?
The easiest way is to open the /data/cfg/commands.cfg in TMO. Search for " [Cmd50] " Your looking for these two blocks:

[Cmd50]
Name=Camera_on_next_unit
Ctxt=1
;Key0=0xBE,,">"
Page=0x34000000,3714
[Cmd51]
Name=Camera_on_prev_unit
Ctxt=1
;Key0=0xBC,,"<"
Page=0x34000000,3714
Simply remove the semicolon placed in front of the key assignment, and you have the next/previous cameras back. Note: this will restore hotkeys. It will not restore the buttons on the ordersbar. "

Do this and using the radio make sure you enable cams and you should have them....

Cmd lines, that was it. It enables the < key and > key for the free camera. All the other keys for the camera are already enabled. Arrows keys up down left right and holding the shift key moves it faster
