In the engine room a pvc floor is a bit unrealistic.

True, though -being a photograph of the set of Das boot- the image posted by you can't prove anything!

Hello GAP
I saw ,but me too,i found not realistic the PVC floor the ground was demontable, to access the battery / pumps / ammunition etc ... and for the evacuation of water to the pump (leaks etc) and in case of a fire, Ouch ! Hot ! But ,if you want i can make the change other explain you ,how to do @LemonA:If you have other photos,as this one (not repaint as the U995 in Laboe),I am interested
