Please read if you use GWX 3 - Rafael DSK GUI and Locked version!

KeybdFlyer sent me a PM with some small problems.

Quote:
Once my stealth meter turns red (as it did when I surfaced to Deck Gun a couple of merchants), it stays red - permanently.
This is because the DSK GUI has disabled the stealth meter, for example you would never hear "We may have been detected, sir!" This has been fixed.

FIXED STEALTH METER IN DSK GUI.

Quote:
Trying to click on any slow speed (3kts, 1 kt for e.g.) is really difficult as, unless you're very careful to get the pointer in just the right position, all you achieve is to make the text scroll in the message window.
The above is because he is using the "Locked" version of the GUI, this cannot be changed, see image below how to use the pointer correctly in the locked DSK GUI version.

In the LOCKED version it is quite simple to make a mistake and you will find yourself in the scroll message window.

Quote:
Oh - and the rollover text at far left (Watch Officer (WO) etc.) weren't centered on the little panel.
This has been fixed too, look at the top 3 images above. English, German and French language has been corrected.

To Raphael:

Sir! I have to say that your GUI is a masterpiece - I'm completely astounded by it. Like FIREWALL, I found myself watching the dawn come up this morning AND yesterday morning because I couldn't tear myself away from the game! I'm a few years older than you and had a problem with the small dials too, but not only is that now fixed for me, they look superb for a bonus!

I see you've fixed the little niggles I mentioned in my PM - I'd sorted the "CTRL-Enter" and the non-centred text myself and also realised about where to click the speed dial to get 1kt, but I'm pleased to see the stealth meter is working again, lol. I know it's not "purist accurate", but I can't live without it (in-game, literally, lol) as I tend to be a bit late on intercepts and need to head in at flank for as long as possible before diving. Watching the stealth meter for its first flicker to yellow before hitting periscope depth has been a life-saver on many occasions!

btw - LOVE the little touch with the gramophone! Don't know why no-one seems to have thought of that before (or have they? I've never seen it done like that). I'm still sorting out my fresh installation of SH3, but at least I now have a GUI that I'm completely happy with - once again many thanks for all your hard work! Zeer aardig inderdaad! Vele dank!

Depth IXB sub

I tried with a IXB sub to find the maximum depth.

260 meters all OK.
270 meters and still OK. Hull 99.15 %

I was afraid!

Wondering if a destroyer would find me at 260 meters depth ... never tried it?
