Hi thehiredgun,
Unfortunately mate, FM's interior mods are not part of GWX. You may have better luck presenting your problem in a calm fashion on FM's interior mod thread.

@thehiredgun: the FM Interiors mod is for the Type VII boats only. It contains no interior files for the Type IXs so, no, even if you have it enabled it will not give you new expanded interiors if you are playing a Type IX.

Is it any way to fix the bug that makes your periscope goto hell 99% of the times your hit by a depth charge or so. That + the terrible loading times can make gwx a bit frustrating.

There is nothing you can do about that, we're all in the same boat.

BTW:Welcome.

As Steed said: that's the way it is.
I load the game and go get a drink, hit the head, and check my mail.
The only way around this long loading problem is to get a $10.000 computer.
Otherwise, relax.
Or play something else.
Welcome aboard. My suggestion is to stick with it and enjoy one of the truly great PC games.

Welcome to SubSim captaintex...the length of time it takes to load the game is down to the fact EVERYTHING in the SH3 world is loaded as one piece of information (this is now an old game engine) however, I am currently using a quad core processor with 8GB RAM anf my GWX loads in under two minutes, so it is possible, with a fairly modern system (for those lucky enough to possess one...and I certainly didn't during the development of all the GWX versions) to shorten the load times considerably.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys

Im used to UBI's games, so i feared that it was little to do with the loadingtime. But its a great game with the GWX mod. I have a pretty old system, so it might have something to do with it aswell. Kind of a evil circle, instead of looking for jobs so i can buy a new pc i start SH3 and then remember how long a game can take

After my hard drive crashed last year, I too invested in a powerful pc - FalconNW Mach V, Intel quad processors, 12 Gb RAM, dual video SLI cards, etc. but what made a big difference in GWX load times was the 256Gb solid state drive. GWX loads in under 1 minute. Not bragging (this time) - just offering that as a suggestion for when the time comes to replace yours. It was all that pc horsepower or a new pickup - what a dilemma!

Installed SH3 last week, first time I played a legal copy of it
Look around a bit and installed GWX3 too.

Thanks a lot !! SH3 always felt a bit bare but this mod is great. It adds so much ambience and feel to the game.

Wilhelmshaven has traffic scripted in it to commence Aug 38.

Check you don't have any of the following enabled:

Lite Harbour Traffic
Black Sea Campaign
Indian Ocean Campaign
