i found that low FOV cam makes the scenery look less spectacular, only the boat/ship looks cool. But you lose those cool reflections, and skies. I'm talking about FOV10, I'm sure FOV30=60 isn't that serious.

Your "Visiting Africa" pic looks like U-534. Is that a custom skin?

That's some real good photoshopping you've done, Twelvefield.

Thank you!

I've mentioned the Patrick O'Brien books quite a few times on this forum, and now that you see what I look like, there should be no-one left surprised that I so heartily endorse a series of books where the undisputed Action Hero is a big, overweight sea captain.

6th April 1945 Early Morning, South of Portsmouth Harbour
I was attacking a convoy and I hit a transport troop

The escorts saw my periscope

So, I took defensive measures

Yes!!! Right under the keel

But this generated an answer from others destroyers
The first deep charge is already in the water

A lot of them followed

The result was:

VON_Capo, I think your post deserves its own thread as it's a whole patrol description! Cool pics!

Thank you . Only 46 meters. It was in the British channel.

I won't do it any more . Thank you .

Yes it is, no modifications at all. Notice that the action was in shallow waters (46 meters). That's the reason you see a clear image.

VonCapo - you don't get the point. I think that you have a whole story to tell, if you seen, like others did - they write like a patrol report. In a screenshot thread it will get lost I think. It wasn't criticism. A bit childish to say 'i won't do it anymore' - who am i to even tell you what you must or must not do! It was just a suggestion so that more people could see it.

@ Twelvefield: Wow!

Your edited screenshot is a piece of art man, respect!
Lovely details, the oranges, the bacon and stuff, and also good "acting" by you, the expression on your face fits in the scene very well!

(...although bad guys might think you just sh*t your pants by the way you are looking around... ; - ) <-- please don't feel offended, just a joke!

Type941, I got the point perfectly. I agree with you totally, it looks like a patrol description. So, when I said "I won't do it anymore" I was just manifesting a plain intention. Please notice, English is not my first language, so it's a necessity a dictionary beside me.
But I don't agree at all to the adjetive "childish". It is unnecessary.
Have my regards.

no harm done, internet, English as second language.

Here's a new sort of effect I worked up which imitates old photo in a way I like...

I hope your boat made it home... One officer can do it... he just has to be very busy.

Prost!
