GWX and V16B1 installation problems
So for a long time I have been playing with just GWX, and man is that a fun mod. However recently I came across the V16B1 patch, and I must say that piqued my interest.
Installation looked simple enough and everything said it worked with GWX. However when I took my sh3.exe into the patch folder, the bat file would say it was incompatible. Next I tried doing a fresh install, extreme I know, and then did the installation and everything installed correctly, however then GWX would not install. So now I have done a new install with a new batch of GWX with sh3 commander, wondering if I can install this patch or not. This is the steam version of the game, and I have admin permission set and compatibility for windows 7 set. Looking at other posts, i have not found a solution to work. Hopefully I can avoid doing another fresh install, but at least this time I backed up the pre mod folder. So what I am asking is, how do you get v16b1 to work with gwx? |

This guy dealt with the same problem, maybe you can replicate his solution. |
