Trainee,

One of the advantages the Kriegsmarine enjoys is a sophisticated Torpedo Data Computer to help your U-Boat put torpedoes on hulls. This course is not about getting range and speed, that will be covered in the Basic Plotting and TDC Setup course. For this exam you will need to understand how to set the dials on TDC from the data the Commander gives you. You will want to be familiar with the values that the range is set in, hectometers; when to change Angle Tracking; basic AOB understanding, limits of firing angles, salvo limits, and other critical pieces of information.
