That is above average.

Steed has low AA and no enviromental effects, for instance, but it still looks good if you dont mind the jaggies. (I H-A-T-E the jaggies, and enviro effects are a must)

MY SH4 Graphic Settings AF16 + AA8 at Resolution 1600 X 1200...FrameRate = 60 to 91.....CHEERS

PS: Only thing I hate is trying to read the text, or I be higher in res.

Hi all, new guy here, first post. I haven't built my new PC yet (current one was put together in 2001, 4 more components to go before I put the new one together so I can play this sim), so I have the game on the desk, along with 2 others that'll need the horsepower and 2 gigs of ram and a DVD drive to install (current PC doesn't have a DVD drive).

Your video, both part 1 and part 2, were so well done I just had to come out of "lurker" mode and say that this was one of the BEST damn videos I had ever seen concerning this sim.

Brought a tear to my eye.

Can't wait until I get the new PC up and running so I can play this. I had so much fun with the old DOS Silent Hunter I, and I've been waiting with worm on tongue (baited breath) for this one to come out! Oh, glad the patch is out, too. I knew there would be one.

Oh man! I can't believe how awesome this game is! I haven't been able to play with FPS over 5 earlier, but now that I finally got enough $$$ to upgrade my computer, I can only say it's an amazing experience!
It runs with over 50fps at all times, with all graphic settings maxed out, 1680x1050px and with 16x Anti-Aliasing!
