Default A Pacific Aces question

Can I intall PA directly on the SHII vers.1.0.06 ? Or must I patch it to 1.1 before installing PA 1.0 +1.1 and some of the rest to fix the game?

'cause i did so and I get nothing but screen blanker when I have started a mission.(good old Janus, ye know)

After I had installed everything. I noticed that on my desktop, there was three icons: SHII, SHII Pacific Aces and SHII Pacific Aces 1.1 is that correct or should one of them be deleted?

You should patch first, I wouldn't delete anything, if you installed correctly click on SH PA 1.1 it should load and away you go.
1 fresh install sh2
2 patch
3 you can install pm / messer { forgive me I'm running off the top of my head}
4 Install Pacific Aces

Now the game run perfect. Here's my next question:

How do I use the periscope??

I can raise the periscope, but i can't see through the lenses(if I press F2 I stand infront of the periscope, I have tried every key on my keyboard to engage my periscope without any succes. I could offcourse surface(and get killed) to see where exactly the enemies are.

You got big scope look for a red button lower right or left of scope click on that with mouse cursor, if at night secure from red.

Hello mapuc. I just started playing PA also. Man, what a blast! The PA Team did an amazing job. Its like a totally new Sub Simulation. Thanks guys. However I couldn't get the new Periscope to work. Probably my system since that is what says in the read me. No worries though I'm perfectly happy playing with the old Periscope.

The game works, except my cursor. If I move my mouse a half inch the cursor moves from one end to the other, on the game screen. Have tried to find the mouse calibration or what they call it.
