Grey Wolf on the Sinclair QL

Hello everyone, has anyone else played this subsim before? It's a fairly obscure one called Grey Wolf which came out in the mid 80's on the Sinclair QL computer.

The game puts you in command in a German type 7C submarine and you have to manually control things like the ballast, hydroplanes, torpedo flaps and air valves. It's quite a complex game for it's age and still fun to play.

A quick video here of it in action:

WELCOME ABOARD!

Sorry, but the video kind of makes me glad I didn't buy it. Silent Service was already out, and it looked better than that - not graphically, but logically, with the inside of the control room and more realistic layouts. Still, we all have our likes and dislikes, so I'm glad you still like that one.

I think I can vaguely remember Silent Service plus stuff like 688 Attack Sub on the megadrive/genesis. Grey Wolf was a QL exclusive

That explains why I never heard of it. My rig was an Atari 520ST.

Thanks for the welcome

At one point the QL and ST were closely related. It was possible to emulate QL OS and software on the ST. It was first mass market machine to use the 68000 cpu before the Amiga and Apple Mac.
