After getting everything sorted with my reinstall and mods back in I restarted "Happy Times". This is my first patrol out on 6/15/40 from Wiihelmshaven to drop off an Infiltrator north of Londondeery. I've only made to the south side entrance for the passage thru the straight below Scapa Flow. Heading up the coast I first encountered and sank 2 A Class destroyers. Upon rounding the point I have 2 escort contacts. I pop out to the external view to take a look as they aren't moving and don't act like destroyers. What do I find but this.......

All well and good but I head north submerged towards the island south of Scapa Flow. Then I get contact report of a Task Force on the move out of Scapa Flow. Time to check it out. After finally getting into visual range I see a Nelson Class Battleship heading out to sea with it's escorts. Bingo! Three torpedos into it's side and down it went. [Screenshot didn't take but it went down as the icon shows in the next screenshot.] After looking around I spotted an Illustrious Fleet Carrier. After moving in within range for over an hour I take a shot at the carrier. 1st torp hits but 2 others blow up before they can reach it. They must have hit mines. Funny thing was that the first torpedo wiped out everything on deck, and she was completely on fire but not shown as sunk. . 3 more shots and they all hit. Down it goes.

Total tonnage thus far...... 61376. Everyone gets a shot of rum once we hit the open N. Atlantic.

Now the weird thing. None of the escorts even made a move to find us. Everyone of them sat perfectly still. I could have racked up on hell of a tonnage total but decided to get out and play it safe. On to the drop off point.......

Casey, do a Google search for screenshot programs. There's a lot of them out there that work very well and also those that are not so easy to use. Make sure you get one that will save your screenshot via PrintScreen and save it in Jpeg format..... not as Bmps. BMPs can be over 1Mb in size where Jpegs are usually 20 to 40 Kbs.
