The other day I told Moira I'd like to get our boy a new game for his Nintendo 'Switch'. It would cost around £30 so I suggested she might like to go halves

She told me she owed me £15 for some shopping she'd done online, so if I paid for it myself then she wouldn't have to pay me back. I looked up at the ceiling for a bit and then said I was happy with this solution

Next day I was getting the car out and started thinking about this whole deal again... something still didn't seem right

Well, I’d just like to introduce you all to me and what I have been doing for the past few months.

As you may know, I am a Cadet in the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps. I graduated from boot camp in late July and am enjoying the non-recruit life. I have some pictures of me y’all might like to see.


And this is of me right before the labor day parade. My dad wanted a picture of me for his Facebook.


And here’s the whole unit marching. I am in the middle with the two yellow chevrons on my sleeve.

Finally, some boot camp pictures coming up.

And here is me folding the flag during Evening Colors. I am in the blueberries.

This is me tearing apart my rack and turning it into a smiley face in less than 4 minutes.

And no, I am not a Corporal haha. The NSCC took some liberty with their rank designs.

I just finished up my E-3 Seaman coursework, so when I pass my PRTs and go to a training this winter I should be able to rank up a spot.

The XO was adamant that I finish my coursework so that way they could give me leadership positions, so I stepped on the pedal. So far the only real job I have is maintaining the classroom and being an "assistant" instructor. It isn't as cool as it may sound, but I'll take it.
