re tmccarthy, headset, loud, if you have a Realtek sound chip install the audio manager (all free), go to loudspeaker/soundeffect, set equalizer to "stark". You won't believe the difference.
If you have a Turtle beach sound card, there are even better settings.. ymmv.

We're talking about a guy who took a dump in his pants to avoid the Draft, treated the rest of the band like a complete Dick, and leased a 13 year old girl to be his "pillow inspector". And, I'm being nice about it.

Sometimes your resume carries a lot more weight than you intended.
