Check your Private Messages Martin!! And about the Polish convoy mission with the British MTB's, its called Polish Evacuation, not sure if it is a stock mission, or one that came with GWX?

Fair question I did allude to it in the thread opener.
but its a good question.

what I did was I didnt make a new sub I hijacked a
Type IXB (1939) and gutted it souped it up reworked the guns and the crew
applied some invisible stealth applique armour and filled in the sensor suite.
oh and of course I welded on a type VIIC/4 Flak tower.

Now when you select uber for a mission it doesnt appear in the list as
type IX-XI (do you see the double entendre now)
no in the mission selection menu to get Uber you have to
always choose type IXB 1939

it doesnt matter what year your mission is uber will show up if you choose
IXB1939

now all that said. Up armouring and extending battery and horse power
will affect all subs in the game for armour and those subs that use the
same batteries and Superchargers for power and speed.
while the uberboot mod is active in JSGME

I Chose IXB1939 because as upgrades would make differences with any other type IX moot, and as IXB1939 was already available at the start
of the camaign games I wouldnt need to rework the dates except for
game exit date. all I would have to do is make the boat
and an extra 5000 bucks available in a flotilla.

Which for any sinner who didnt fully read the readmes
is 7th flotilla sept 1939

Hope that answers sufficiently
