mush i just installed the uberboot mod (didn work)
then i tried to make a career with a type VII/C
with the 7th/13th flotilla
but it will only let me take the IXB.....before i could choose the VIIC but not now
can you please help me ?

are you trying to go back to your regular career because if so your supposed
to deactivate Uberboot first.
Oh wait i see you mean that the IXB wasnt available in 7th flotilla.

Yes I just found out this morning that the one in the 1.2 7z didnt have the flotilla cfg put into the mod so I am working to correct this.

did you try the mission "Surface Combat" it may or may not
work Im getting mixed results so I am working a correction
for the included mission as well as the missing uber from 7th
flotilla.

I am working to get the correction out quickly.
sorry for the inconveniance.

shouldnt be to long.

i mean uninstalled
but now i cant have a type VII anymore in the 7th/13th and i REALLY want it back
the flotilla CFG didn "rewind" to original when i uninstalled

copy here of say the first page and a bit.?

whoa dude sorry ( sure am glad I put that disclaimer in readme)
but dood it shouldnt do that if there was no change to flotilla
cfg as it wasnt in the mod I cant explain what happened

either way I am going off to rush Uberboot Beta 1.3 into service
to correct the obvious and known issues.

also have a boat I need to put through sea trials for a freind so
ill be off a couple of hours likely but ill be in and out all
day.

Default well I got the mission fixed I think ?

ok so I took out the random generated mtbs and put in a set of scripted
ones. I geared down the second air contact and did my best to confirm
that all craft are stock.

(maybe Im wrong about tse tse somebody let me know I think
I may still need to change it.)

so I pull up the game to test. and so far today testing hasnt been
going well so im not real optimistic.

and heres what happens.
I set my crew up and launch two Ubertorps aft at the pursuing black swans
I take off set course and go to flank ahead.
a few short minutes later the first air contact comes over the aft horizon
and I start to manuever the boat while the gun crews take on the six plane
formation. all the while im taking pix with my Leica.



So I clear the first air contact but three of them survived and as they
were starting to come back around



B....A.....D.....A......B.....O......O......M
B.......I........G
B....A.....D.....A......B.....O......O......M

apparently torpedo # 2 caught a wiff of me when I took off this time.
I got hit by an uber torp loaded to about 50 terrawatts
I have launched two frigates into orbit with this torp.
and have considered sinking greenland with it.

here are the results of uberboot self flagelence.
I took a huge hit but little effective damage although due to
a failure on my part at damage control I nearly did get flooded
under.
Now Im not kidding I have sent two FF's to orbit strangley I was
only displaced about a few boat lengths and at no speed at all
for those who have used ubertorp this is amazing. have a look.

driven under by the torpedo hit and the gaping hole.




Wow no injuries a compartment showing red and but systems still functional
and flooding controllable though I almost blew that.
wait it gets better.

I move on as by some miracle of neptunes I have survived a direct
hit from the sister ship of an Imperial Stardestroyer I shot down last week.

and the test went fine 'cept for a little heaviness in the back end
(dont let bernard man the Pumps mates )







Any way I made it through one and a half surface contacts
and four air contacts actually three as one ended up as
a double with mossies from behind and beaufighters from ahead.
seconds after the last pic i was killed in a rocket attack.

but the mission appears to be working fine and
I just need to maybe swap out the Tse Tse's for compatability

1.3 getting closer.
