Default GWX Mannschaftstellermutze Mod ... Looking for a few testers

As the title caption above states, looking for tester or two.

Only works currently for GWX 3.0 "only" and is JSGME ready.

Good hunting,
FUBAR295

Looks good. But not practical. I doubt that such a headgear is suitable for going out to sea.

Anvar1016,

Thank you.

I know it is not very practical for a Uboat war patrol and I doubt if any WWII Uboat crew really wore those in combat (was not able to locate any photos of them being worn on war patrol, did find them used in training and on shore though), but I thought it should be there in case others would care to utilize it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Besides I was only able to get it to work in GWX for now and had some fun playing around with Wings 3D and gain more experience with S3D too.

So use it or don't, that is always up yo you.

Good hunting,
FUBAR295

This mod would compliment driver's Surface raider mod if you ever think of doing a collaboration with him.

Who knows; I could see an early war scenario of them being worn leaving/arriving port, with them then being switched to/from more practical gear.

Maybe even one day a ww1 u-boat mod because the crews during the great war did wear those hats and uniforms.

Thanks guys.

I made this for my own personal use but decided to share it for those may want to use it in there own way. WWI had Uboat crews with caps, as you said, port or combat, it was the navy headgear.

Will start a new thread with the download link.

Good hunting,

Look, he can download the mod and use it as he likes, just give me credit for putting some things together to make it work, in GWX at least.

Agree, it would be useful for surface fleet mods.

Good hunting,
