I just found out that Don Williams passed away last Friday September 8th 2017 ... He was 78 years old. Here's my favorite Don Williams song ...

Ah yes, what a voice, eh? My wife and I played a couple of his songs for our wedding:

Edit: why do they have to show folks walking on the railroad tracks? Dangerous... the steel rail is slick, and you can slip and fall, landing on the other rail with your head - it's happened afore! I'm tellin' ya, and most times, you do NOT hear the train that's coming... 'Course, you don't usually see 'em so often these days... That rail needs replacing also, all flat on top, and no ball left to round... I'm done...

Smooth man, smooth... yeah.

I mean, there are so many good songs that Don Williams did... You could do a six CD box set with 20 songs each and still not get all the ones I like...

Just looked up his discography, and he had 24 studio records over almost 50 years, plus all of the Greatest Hits compilations, and the live recordings... Lots of material.
