Reinstalling SH 1.5

after reinstalling, game will not start. Is it possible that over time of removing and reinstalling to load new Mods, some code is lost. My computer is a Intel i7 , Asus P658 Mobo, 6 Gs Ram running Win 7 64. I also cannot make it show full screen. I have the Gold edition and it is 2yrs old or more. It ran fine until I uninstalled to get a fresh game to load FOTRS. Any help would be great. Or I may just buy a new disk.

Sorry, finally found it.
You're talking about SH4?
Removing or un-installing a game will not cause it to lose code, as you put it.
Did you post this over at the SH4 forums?
You would get a lot more answers over there.

Also you may want to check out this:

Tech help thread.

Also this handy guide to SH4:

When uninstalling did you delete your SH4 Folder in My Documents? Before installing again?
Let me know how you get on

Feuir,
Yes my problem is with SH 4 both the 1.o v and the Gold ver. or SH 4 1.5. And yes I did post it on the SH4 mods site and got some good answeres, however, after tryingthem, I still cannot get it to start.

Should probable keep working over there, as they are focused on SH4 Problems and fixes. A lot of people in this forum may never have even touched SH4 (my self included).

This forum is for any software/hardware that isn't subsim.

I posted it here as I was not getting any answers on the SH4 site. Then 2 weeks after I fixed my e-mail address I got suggestions.
Thanks for reply.

Otto,

What have you done thus far?

Have you removed all traces of SH4 from your hard drive?
Removed the SH4 folder in the program files and also found in the Documents folder?

AVGWarhawk,

Yes to all however, I found the problem to be with Gameshadow. After removing it the game after reinstall works fine. Win7 64 Bit apperently does not like Gameshadow.

Alls good with my world.
