So I was playing the game a bit wrong - always got to the patrol grid, get it done - roam freely to get "kills" and then return to base by my own. I recall that once I've got "patrol this area for 96h" 4 times in a row in the same patrol, so I just ignored it. Will check that today. Again - thank you for your answer and patience.
