No when tried to take the screenshot it saved to my SH3 main folder should I make it go to here C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\SH3 Screens or something like that.

It's showing as a .png file, which is a very large file type. Jpeg is much better for internet use.

Use CTRL +F11 to take the screenshot....that will go straight into your main SH3 folder.

Create a separate folder somewhere calling it SH3 Screenshots for example and cut and paste the screenshots into that folder.

Use whatever picture software you have (I use Irfanview tis free) to convert to jpeg format.

It may be a good idea to freeze the game before taking the screenshot so you can centralise the subject matter but Irfanview etc. allow you to crop your images.

May I suggest using FRAPPS?

It is much easier to take screenshots , you can customize the key for that and you can select where to save it.
The free version of FRAPPS saves the screenshots in .bmp format.

Hope that helps.

@BossMark

Something makes me think you use the resfix, if so you can make the d3d9.cfg save your screenies anywhere you wish mate.

Like so;

; DX9res Settings
; by Kegetys <kegetys@dnainternet.net>
;
; Note that this config is reloaded on device reset, so you can task switch out
; of the game, change settings from this file and then return
;

[config]
; ResX: Horizontal resolution setting
; ResY: Vertical resolution setting
; useFiltering: Use linear filtering for UI elements
; enableScreenshots: Hook printscreen keypress to save TGA screenshot
resX=1920
resY=1200
useFiltering=1
enableScreenshots=1
screenshotPath=D:\SH3 SHots

[gamma]
; setGamma: Override gamma ramp
; gammaRed: Red channel gamma (1.0 = normal, decrease to add brightess, increase to darken)
; gammaGreen: Green channel gamma (1.0 = normal, decrease to add brightess, increase to darken)
; gammaBlue: Blue channel gamma (1.0 = normal, decrease to add brightess, increase to darken)
setGamma=0
gammaRed=1.0
gammaGreen=1.0
gammaBlue=1.0

My screen capture prog of choice is Core lCapture

Best regards.

I notice that you are leaving a wake as you depart the pier in your first picture. The maximum speed within the confines of a harbor is set at 5 knots.

Thank you;
