Default Hi

Hello all, i am new to this forum, thought i would introduce myself, my name is Dj, i am an avid gamer in all things war/simulation/stratergy, i have played the silent hunter series from the original through to no.5. The main reason i like the war/historical games so much is due to a heavy influence from my grandfarther who was in the royal signals during WW2, he saw much action in Afrika, Poland and also so small part in the D-Day attack.

So as you can imagine i crew up with plenty of stories from the war which is what got my interested, at 22 years old now i find that it is not just a good thing to play the games and such but also to never forget those stories which a lot of us have been told, there generation is almost completley gone so it is for me at least important to preserve what they did for our respective countries.

Cheers hope to see you all in game.

Nice attitude, Darklord. Well said.
My grandfather fought in the First World War. Nearly 1 hundred years later, I have the honour of being able to look at his papers now and again and remind myself of what ordinary guys sacrificed. We must never forget.

This is a good forum, thanks to Neal and the guys that contribute. I have learned a lot here......and blown up a hell of a lot of ships

Welcome aboard.

Welcome aboard darklord. I agree with Sailor Steve; get that history down on paper, for sure.
