Thank you Kapitan for the concise and informative and in depth answer to my questions in post #6. With radioactive half-lifes, I don't expect things to improve regarding radioactive contamination in my lifetime.

As usual, well written.

By the way, should you start to develop a green hue about you like the dial on your watch at night, consult a physician immediately.

Well, green is a nice, happy kind of color. Besides, if you glow in the dark, you can read at night without any external lighting.

I'm very glad to hear that. I think you should stay away from destroyed reactors and visit more naval ships and submarines and the like. Take pictures as well. Many, many pictures.

That is the plan in the near future, I want to resume going to museums and things.

Covid torpedoed many of my plans in 2020/21 and then had to go all hands on deck for work over the last 2 years sorting out a lot of the mess left over from Covid.

But alas I do have a plan, I promised the Mrs I would take her travelling to various countries little does she know and for now lets keep it that way

Considering that you not only were working but also trying to finish college, you did incredibly well. It's even harder when you factor in Covid and virtual learning through remote sites.

As anyone who has gone to college or a technical / trade school, free time comes at a premium while in school and studying.

Rest assured we won't " rat " you out to the missus regarding your plans with one caveat, you must take lots of pictures and share them with us.
I know we all look forward to the pictures, history and narratives that you include with your visits to ships, submarines and aircraft.

All the best.
