Default PlayOnLinux Notes: Dev help [SOLVED]

[SOLVED] SEE OTHER THREAD. You need to install the MS fonts

This works, except that there is no text in the right-hand (Signature, etc.), tutorial or left-hand (range, speed, etc.) boxes, as per attachments. I suspect something simple is the problem and will continue to experiment, but hints welcome.

This is POL emulating Windows 7. Cold Waters 1.07e. Linux Mint 17.3. Nvidia card. Wine 2.12-staging

Perhaps the developers can give me a hint as to what to change that might be causing this - it is the only thing that doesn't seem to function correctly (music, voices, sinking vessels, etc.).
In PlayOnLinux (wine) I can set, in the display:
GLSL support on/off
Direct Draw Renderer : gdi / opengl
Video memory: 256
Off-screen rendering: fbo / backbuffer / pbuffer
Render target mode lock: disabled / readdraw / readtex
Multisampling : on/off
Strict draw ordering on/off

Any clues welcomed (and then you'll have another O/S supported - well, indirectly).
