Default Crew orders (icons) ath the bottom of the screen.

Yea I can't seem to get the UI mods to work either. I tried installing it in JSGME in my Silent Hunter 5 folder, but nothing comes up in game. Can someone help me?"

goto \Silent Hunter 5\data\Applications\JSGME mod validator and run the app
copy and paste the report here and we can then see what is going wrong

Are you sure you should have the entire 'scopes' folder activated in JGME?

I am using the 7.5.0 version, but I had to copy a single folder from inside that folder according to my resolution.

You need for an UI mod. Take a look at the first post of the thread pointed by Volodya for links to the SH5 UI Mods available. My personal suggestion is you to use one among Multiple UIs or CSP Magui

Go to post #3 of this thread to learn about folder structure. Did you read the user guide (post #1) or help me file for JSGME at all? They talk about folder structures.

MikeMike47, thank you, but I think there might have been a misunderstanding. I have a working mod soup by following sobers instructions, and I am happily playing the game.

My question was attempt at tactfully pointing the gentleman above to what might be the issue, but your reply shows that I might be better off being more explicit:

JimmyS1985, unless something drastically changed between the 7.4 and the 7.5 version of TDWs NewUIs mod you should NOT have activated the 'scope' folder (the one on your mod list label 'do not activate') - instead you should copy the folder containing the scope mod you wish to use, according to your aspect ratio; for example on my 1440x900, I use "Manos Scopes-patch for 16x9" and activate that. This may well be be the cause of your CTDs.

Kind Regards.

Default The discussion has Changed

I started this thread with a simple question on how to get the crew order bar at the bottom of the screen. Some helpfull information has been given in the reply s but I still don't know the name of the MOD that does this. I admit that I am not very educated on Mods but I have installed two simple ones and if I had the name of that particular Mod for this I think I could work it out.

Much of what this discussion has turned into is not relevant to my question. Please forgive me for being such a newbie

Both the mods I have suggested got crew order buttons. We don't know the particular YouTube video that you mentioned earlier, but seeing its widepread, the mod that you are looking for is probably New UIs aka Multiple UIs with TDC.
