"The bunkhouses shield it from the view of both the tower, so a man may be able to crawl through the trench to the privies and escape," he said.

"There's no where to escape to," countered Chief Tarrasque. "If you haven't noticed."

"All the same," mused Captain Raptor, "it may be useful to reconniter the grounds and get to know the terrain better. One man won't be missed and he could be back in the camp by night. Any volunteers?"

Well, yeah, I asked for volunteers, but he didn't explicitly say he was going (That I saw), so I was not sure. Also, it seems like a man can get through, but we didn't know that for certain. Hence the question.

Are we to assume that the remaining 38 or so of the sub's complement have already perished?

I do hope so, or else we are outnumbered and I fear the future.

Through my brilliant use of brave tactics, they have clearly all died valiantly for king and country.

Well I certainly don't expect to be left unnoticed for nigh on two days and left for my bowels and bladder to fend for themselves

Sorry, mate, my bad.

So yeah, each night you can send a man out under the wire. He must be back by dawn.

Well hang on, where IS Vendor, I mean he clearly slept through it all and hasn't said anything since this started. Let's not start roleplaying for other people here otherwise it's going to get confusing.

Well, nobody seemed to spot Vendor, and he's not posting anything, so I sort of assumed you asked him to come and he failed to show up.
