Default [REL] Jimimadrid´s Torpedos

After a long time passed i decided to put my fingers again in modding Silent Hunter.





This mod changes the 3D Image and the Inboat Image of the Torpedos to a shiny metalic look.

You will also get 10 different Torpedos. The Inboat Torpedo will be the same look as the 3D Torpedo in the water.






I took this sheet as reference:





Unzip the zip and enable the MOD with JSGME.

hi!, i like this, there is a problem however, you can't select 'fired torpedoes' icons to see their run time, the 'box' dissapeared.

Ok, what mod set mix are you using this particular mod with, by chance...?

That info would be of BIG assistance in knowing... so as to see if there is indeed an issue that needs being corrected... for 1.

Am wondering if you are perhaps... referring to that vid window that pops up, referred to as the event cam... if this is what you're referring to as... disappearing on you, it don't hang around long any way...

info on torps fired, would be found on & in the attack mapping... provided you still have that map & not using Diego's dgui 1920x1080 hardcore TDC which replaces that attack mapping... that is.

Otherwise... unless I'm mistaken &... on this I don't think I am... only way to keep up with torp's run time will be with... a chronometer aka a time clock, stopwatch... if you are indeed, using either Diegos hardcore TDC attack map replacement mod r Morne Brane's version of that...

I have other torpedo icon mod that i disabled to try this one, and with the other the fired torpedoes icons appear, with this mod they do not, you can still click on them, and see on the stopwatch their times, but they are invisible. No i'm not reffering to the event cam, i mean the icons where you can select your fired torpedoes to see their times. Other than that i like the mod.

On the small icons there is only a graphical change i've made.



Can you check the amount of files in both Mods?

If there are more files in the other mod, then copy this files in my mod.

So, i tried to copy the other mod over yours, without overwriting of course, and its the same, no icons for fired torpedoes, without this mod they appear, no idea whats possibly going wrong. I'm using nygm, i don't know if that can affect anything.

Try to rename one of the other files, try if it works after you get the file which cause the problem.
Send me this original file and i will check the difference.

This are only graphic files. This will only change the visuality.


Can you send me your Torpedo.dat from the Data\Library Folder?

OK, i hope i get it.


It seems that you use SH3 without WideGui.
I enlarged the little Icons to get a better result with Wide image.


I rebuild a new Zipfile for NoWideGui.

I have no idea, i'm using ARB widegui for nygm. But i pass if things gets so complicated, its not a super essential mod for my list. Thanks
