I gave the mic back to my friend. The main reason I wanted it was for me to communicate with the friend in BF2, but since we didnt play it, I gave it back.

EDIT: Naturally it's up to Hunter & Jimtuna to decide if I can join, dont care, if no one's flying on the other side, I'm happy to take place. So, basically, there's no need for me having a mic if I'm on a different cahnnel.

Hmm... and I dont care If you are flying on my side and dont have a mic since I almost always fly in me 190D/bf 109... and I dont use my mic when I am...

would be nice to have anouther piolet that is good on my side... (the ai sucks... It gets shot down and leaves me to fight the entire RAF/USAF...)

BTW, hunter I know this isnt the campaign thread, but WTFK are those ai set on... rookie?

Well, question is...
its this fair? We've knocked Task Force out of Teamspeak due the Mic issue.
He showed effort to get one so he could come back and fly and now all of us have a Microphone and use it.

Which side you play (if the option is there) shouldn't matter in the case of having a Mic or not.

Get one.

@Task Force: I will look in the AI difficulty on Monday

Aaah, I see.

In other news, IL2 just crashed out as I was flying along the channel between the mainland and the Sheppey Isles.
I mean, I know they call it ****ty Sheppey but still

And yeah, .303s vs a He-111 just make its engines smoke a bit.

There seems to be a few people having a hard time with the map, C.T.D.'s / BSOD's due to graphics cards/RAM and conflicting mods. Might hang off installing this one for a few days till the bugs get ironed out.

I got the map to work without any major problems after a little bit of work, but there is a huge bug with the map. It seems that inspite of all his work Canon forgot to put the nobump groundplate things in at all the grass airfields.

First problem in about, oh, six or seven load ups, although I can't seem to make a FMB mission with it for some reason, but QMBplus works fine. As for graphics cards/RAM, well, my machine is not top of the range, the graphics card is a lot better than it was and the ram is about two gig and it copes fine with just me flying around bombing stuff, heck I nuked Paris (it had to be done) and experienced only a brief pause at detonation point. Of course, the ultimate test is to flood the sky with planes, which is something I'll try at a later date.
Hopefully Canon can make this map even more stable and then the campaigns and missions will start flooding out, because there's a sweet amount of detail here, I flew over Canterbury at rooftop height and to my right was the Cathedral, I then flew north and flew over Whitstable (complete with pier), then turned left and flew down the North Kent coast, right into the CTD.

I haven't explored much of France yet (aside from my jaunt to light up Paris) but so far, the FPS has been behaving, I've had one CTD and no *touch wood* graphics issues, which is more than I had during our Ardennes mission, but thankfully that was temporary and I still don't know why it happened, probably just a one off.

Hold back a couple of days perhaps and see which way the wind blows regarding Canon releasing any patches, but definately give it a go. You will love it.

Haven't done any grass landings yet, so didn't spot that one. D'oh!
